This partial solar eclipse that happened in Ocean Springs, MS was part of the annular solar eclipse that occurred from Oregon to the Four Corners to Texas to the Yucatán to Brazil.  Approximately 60-70 percent of the sunlight was obscured by the moon.  This created some unique shadows and some dimming of this clear sky.

The next partial solar eclipse in Ocean Springs, MS will occur on April 08, 2024.  However, people in parts of northern México, the U.S. from Texas to Missouri to Ohio to New York to Vermont to Maine, and Atlantic Canada will see a TOTAL solar eclipse meaning the moon completely obscures the Sun.
